Use this guide as a general reference for curtain, upholstery, sheer, boucle, chenille, and woven fabrics. Final care should always follow the selected Product Name and Design No.

Before care

Always confirm the exact article first.

Different compositions, finishes, backings, and textures can require different cleaning methods. Share the Product Name and Design No. before washing, ironing, dry cleaning, or production.

Care Instructions

For everyday care, remove dust with a soft brush or fabric-safe vacuum attachment without rubbing the surface. Treat stains as early as possible by blotting with a clean white cloth. Avoid strong friction, bleach, powder detergent, alcohol-based cleaner, and heavy soaking unless the specific fabric care direction allows it.

For washable fabrics, use mild detergent and gentle handling. For non-washable, textured, coated, or delicate fabrics, professional cleaning is recommended.

Colour variation: screen colour, sample lots, and production lots may show slight differences. Request physical samples or cutting approval when shade matching is important.

Width variation: fabric width and repeat may vary slightly between lots. Confirm usable width and repeat direction before calculating final yardage.

Dimensional stability: washing, dry cleaning, steaming, ironing, humidity, and sunlight may affect size or appearance. Allow reasonable margins for curtains, panels, and upholstery work.

Velvet, chenille, boucle, and textured fabrics: pile direction, pressure, and light reflection can create shading or surface variation. This is common in tactile interior fabrics.

Before Production

Confirm Product Name, Design No., colourway, composition, width, weight, use, stock, and lot direction before ordering. For upholstery, ask the upholsterer to review suitability, seam direction, pattern repeat, and expected wear. For curtain and sheer fabrics, confirm drop length, fullness, lining, heading style, and exposure to direct sunlight.

When colour consistency is critical, request a physical sample or stock cutting before final approval.
